One crew. Steel and dirt.

Premier Welding and Fabrication is a crew of AWS-certified welders and dirt-work operators working out of a shop in Aurora, MO. Our welders take AWS weld tests and are certified for unlimited thickness, so structural steel and heavy repairs are in range.

What sets us apart is that one crew does both jobs. We set the pad with the excavator and skid steer, then build the steel that goes on it. We work for homeowners, businesses and farms in Aurora, Springfield, Nixa, Ozark and Republic.

Recent work includes a walk bridge for a church, a cracked machine frame welded on short notice, trailer cross members repaired on site, custom fire pits in thick steel and a set of one-off engine plates. Small-town work ethic, big possibilities.

Start to finish

How a job runs

From your first message to a finished piece, here is how work moves through the shop and out in the field.

  1. No. 01

    Send the idea

Send measurements, photos or a sketch, or put in a request through the quote form. Rough is fine. It is enough to get the conversation started.

  2. No. 02

    Proofs or a plan

For custom pieces, they send proofs for you to approve. For repairs, they look at it first and tell you straight whether a weld is the right fix.

  3. No. 03

Built in the shop or on site

Fabrication happens in the shop in Aurora. Or the mobile rig and the dirt equipment come to you.

  4. No. 04

    Checked with you

They make sure you are happy with the work before the job is done.

What customers say

In their words: a cracked machine frame, railings and gates, a turbo pipe and custom parts quoted on a Friday.

After inspecting the damage, they were honest and upfront that welding the area would not be a proper fix and would likely not solve the problem long-term. Instead of just leaving, they took the time to stay, discuss our options, and help us come up with a plan to repair it the right way.

Casey WyattGoogle, May 2026

Had a machine frame that was cracked and needed welded on very short notice. Justin was able to get me in super quick and was able to get the frame welded up in short time.

Chad PainterCustomer review, Mar 2026

Premier Welding and Fabrication worked diligently and successfully created wonderful looking railings that improved the look of our home. They worked with us to ensure the railings were designed the way we wanted and fabricated 2 gates to our specifications.

Mary JohnsonGoogle, Jul 2026

We absolutely love the gates that premier welding made for us. We have them the measurements and idea of what we wanted. They sent proofs which we approved and then made the gates.

rhonda brackGoogle, Aug 2026

I filled out the request for quote on the website on a Friday. I was picking up my custom parts 5 days later! Great communication, fantastic service, and high quality fabrication.

Eric LutzGoogle, Jan 2026

I needed a turbo charge pipe fixed up in a bad way and he got me back on the road when other people couldn't or wouldn't help. Super fast, great price, and a joy to work with.

Questions we hear

Certification, mobile work, the plasma table, the dozer and where we go. If yours is not here, put it in the quote form.

Are your welders certified?

Yes. Our welders are AWS-certified and take AWS weld tests, and they are certified for unlimited thickness. That matters on structural steel, heavy equipment repair and anything that carries a load. Whether the work is a thin bracket or thick plate, the person running the weld has been tested to do it.

Can you weld on site instead of at the shop?

Yes. We do mobile welding at your site around Aurora, Springfield, Nixa, Ozark and Republic. The mobile rig handles trailers, equipment, machine frames, gates and structural work that is too big or too awkward to move. If a piece is better built or repaired in the shop in Aurora, we will tell you straight.

What can you cut on the CNC plasma table?

Our CNC plasma table cuts custom signs, name plates, metal art, fire pit cutouts, and brackets and parts. Send measurements, a photo or a sketch, and for custom pieces we send proofs for you to approve before anything is cut. It suits one-off pieces as well as the parts that go with a bigger build.

What size trees can your dozer clear?

Our mid-size dozer handles trees up to roughly 8 to 10 inches across, along with brush, underbrush and pasture reclaiming on smaller tracts. It is not the right machine for big hardwood timber, and we would rather say so up front than start a job it cannot finish. If you are unsure what is on your land, describe it and we will tell you.

Can one crew handle the dirt work and the steel?

Yes, one crew does both. We can set the shop pad or the footings with our excavator, skid steer and dump truck, then build the steel on top of it. That means one call and one crew that knows the whole plan, with no hand-off between an excavation company and a fabricator.

What towns do you serve?

We serve Aurora, Springfield, Nixa, Ozark and Republic in Southwest Missouri, with our shop in Aurora, MO. We take residential, commercial and agricultural work, from gates and railings to structural steel, trenching and land clearing. Mobile welding and the dirt equipment come to your site, so the job does not have to come to us.
